7. In the Dante Virtual Soundcard window, choose the following settings and click “Start.” If it is already running with the correct settings below, you can skip this step. If it has already started but with the incorrect settings, click “Stop” to apply the settings and then “Start” once the settings have been applied.

8. In the Dante Controller window, you are asked to provide the configuration file. Choose the file under OneDrive > Immersive Arts Space – Dokumente > 03_Infrastructure > 04_audio > 00_base_setup > 02_dante > 251204_dante_ambi.xml and click Open.
Important: Keep the window in the foreground until it loads the entire preset!

SpatGRIS

Launch Demo
10. The last window that opens is an example Max patch. On the Max patch:
- Put the patcher in Edit Mode to see the full tutorial.
- Turn on the sound by clicking “Audio is OFF” –> this should change to “Audio is ON”
- Example 1: Move your mouse over the graph of sound dots to pan between spatialized sound snippets, which pitch and noisiness determine the sound’s spatial coordinates.
- Example 2: Press play on the sound file to hear the sounds spatialized randomly.
- Example 3: Press play on the sequencer to hear the sequencer spatialized gradually in a circle formation.
- You can make a copy of this patch (File > Save As…) and use it as a start for your own sound projects.
